Juniors will learn from one another each day as they make their way from topic to topic and work through challenges together, therefore, quickly developing the knowledge and confidence they will need for successful competitive golf. In addition, each day during various group exercises and training, juniors will be given an opportunity to receive quality individual coaching to further strengthen and refine the skills and techniques they are working on. Ultimately, our expert staff, unique program structure, and state of the art training facility creates the perfect formula for allowing students to improve quickly while the team-like atmosphere, above all, allows junior golfers to have a lot more fun, make new friends and achieve greater skills than they ever imagined they could before.

2013 Junior Golf Clinic Options & Dates

Group lesson options:

  • By the Individual Class
  • By the Session (4 week sessions ~ one class per week, choose the same day & time to attend each week)
  • For the Season - "Ultimate Golf" Program (unlimited ~ attend classes as often as you would like each week)

The "Ultimate Golf" Program gives students the opportunity to come with more frequency
to enhance their skills in preparation of playing tournament golf or for their high school team.

"Golf is not a once a week sport. Those who truly want to succeed, like in every sport, receive continuous gentle tweaking of their game instead of needing to come in for an overhaul which typically needs to be done when we see those who come just once in a blue moon. After looking back on my history of successful students who have received college scholarships or played professional golf, many of them I saw more than once a week and many of them came numerous times each week. If they traveled in from out of town where frequent visits were not possible there was often a sense of urgency to learn, change and improve. The tendency to default back to old habits will always be there. This holds true whether the student is an adult or a child. Teaming up with the parents to monitor and guide the practice has always been important in the development of a successful golfer. Keeping a constant eye on things can keep the ship sailing in the right direction.

2013 Lil Golfer Clinics
Premium instruction for beginner level youngsters!

2013 Season Schedule begins May 1st thru October 31st.

Lil Golfer Clinics

Beginner Level - Boys and Girls
Class Size may vary from week to week. The more participants, the merrier!

The Eric MacCluen Golf lil golfer group clinics are designed for youngsters ages 4 - 6. No experience is necessary to participate in this program for either the child or the parent. As the Eric MacCluen Golf logo Instruction Fore Life states, our mission is to offer golf instruction to all ages. Most often, if we start kids at a young age in a positive and creative way, we are able to capture their interest and develop their skills so that they will enjoy the game and become golfers for life. The community of Applecross is filled with youngsters who don’t even know they like golf yet. They just need to be exposed to it in a fun way. In our program the children will develop lasting friendships with other youngsters who are learning to play. Applecross is a great facility for your family to play together with multiple putting and hitting areas. We embrace the opportunity to get your family playing with an entertaining and educative program.

Golf Instruction Features:

  • Innovative classes blending skill building, games and prizes
  • Exposure to the four basic shots in a fun and safe environment
  • Swing movements developed by using balls and equipment from other sports as well as golf
  • Etiquette
  • Basic Golf Rules

Our program will sometimes not resemble golf at all. Kids will throw Frisbees, run, jump, hit, and catch balls from other sports — all in order to develop their athletic ability. Our Lil students will learn golf skills, from the putting green back to the tee, fundamental athletic movements, etiquette, safety and the basic rules of golf. All instruction is founded in fun and is communicated in a fashion that resonates with children. Everyone is encouraged to repeat the program, as repetition is essential for mastering golf skills. Classes are 1 hour in length.

Parents: we not only welcome but require your participation in this program. Classes will be as much for you as they are for your children.

Days and Times: Juniors Ages 4-6

  • Wednesday 6:15 - 7:15pm
  • Saturday 4:30 - 5:30pm

~ We highly encourage girls to participate
in all of our programs!

Clinics by the month: We ask that you make every effort to attend your scheduled classes. Lessons are a building process and consistency does make a difference with your progress. If you are unable to attend a class please notify Eric MacCluen via e-mail: maclesson@aol.com prior to the class to find another class day/ time during that same session to attend. A NO-SHOW without written notification prior to the missed camp day will not be rescheduled, regardless of the nature for not attending.
